Started learning to DJ in 2004 , after 2 years of clubbing starting in 2002 which led to me wanting to play like the DJ's i'd been following.
I bought my 1st set of Record Decks in 2004. I soon found these to be of poor quality and I was going no where in my quest to grasp the concept of beatmixing. After being annoyed by the wobbly platter , poor pitch lock etc I saved up for a pair of Technics SL1210 mk5's which I brought towards the end of 2005.
I've been practising ever since , with the transition to CD mixing over the last year or two with the purchase of 2 pioneer CDJ 800's.
